CEYDI OWN YOUR OWN (O.Y.O)

This is an entrepreneurial scheme targeted at undergraduate and young graduates who have the dream to own their own business or start up a business. The program is designed to equip youth with the skill needed to compete in the market and also give competitive advantage to outstanding applicant with the best of ideas and business plan that will be monitored by mentees to allow them to succeed in their area of interest. Each successful candidate will be given a take-off loan with no interest. For more information on this program contact the project manager for information each year.

CEYDI YOUTH ENGAGE PROGRAM

CEYDI also from time to time engage in other youth development activities involving educational outreaches, educational services and other youth related activity that are geared towards the development of the youth.

CEYDI GIRLS IN TECH PROGRAM

We offer both after school clubs which are open to 6th-12th-grade girls, and summer immersion programs for 10th-11th-grade girls which is driven by a mandate to close the gender gap in the technology sector.
Not only do we empowering girls who might not have ever thought they were entitled to a career, but we also lay the very foundation for these girls to launch successful careers in tech.
Our Tech Program with a focus on Girls also increase the number of girls in the digital space by empowering girls of ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in TECH fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology.

CEYDI INTERNSHIP

CEYDI as a Youth Development Center has provision for young, dynamic, and innovative individuals who want to serve as interns in our organization. Currently our internship provision is between 3-6 months. We operate an open-door policy and treat all internship application on merit and based on first come first serve.

CEYDI VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROJECT

CEYDI is committed to providing sustainable solutions to the social problems stemming from poverty. Self-development is crucial to achieving this. By giving people training, skills and trades, we are giving them power. The power to take control and change their lives forever.
Our Life-skills Training delivers high-quality vocational training to individuals who are unable to avail of such services elsewhere. Professionally designed training, which is tailored to suit the capabilities of the trainees, provides the young people with the opportunity to train and get a job placement.
Life-skills training encompasses practical approaches and hands-on learning. These skills empower trainees, build confidence and enable them to gain employment. Each training course is complimented with a certificate upon completion and apprenticeship /work placement opportunities, as a stepping stone for trainees to enter the wider workforce. This programme ensures they can earn a wage and breaking the cyclical poverty trap.

CEYDI has empowered over 200 youths since the project commenced in 2018 and CEYDI has increased its capacity to achieve success.

CEYDI MENTORING PROGRAM

This another program set to motivate and inspire young people who have leadership potentials and have capacity academically to excel. CEYDI identifies these young people through our reach out programs in schools and other social events. Our goal is to mentor such young people to become what they have dreams to become.

CEYDI VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM

The organization also believes in volunteering and Advocacy programs and services, we have over time seen that volunteering is not a popular culture in Nigeria, CEYDI is set to re-position this trend by providing different opportunities and plat forms for young people to Volunteer their time, resources, and also professional expertise for the course of humanity and development of Nigeria.
We also understand the need for advocacy for young people. We want young people to be a voice to be heard. Young people who want to make a difference in our generation can volunteer here.
